| Vacation Time!!! I will be leaving on August 15th and will be returning on the 30th of August. I am not sure if there will be email access, so please hold all questions and orders until September 1st. Thank you for understanding! My aprons are made from scratch. Some have come from patterns from the 1940's, others from current patterns that have been adapted to make them more user friendly. The fabrics used are mostly reproduction fabrics, 100% cotton and washed on a gentle cycle and dried on low. There are also some fabrics that are vintage. Some have minor imperfections, such as small stains. Using pockets, ric-rac or some other disguise, the problem areas are taken care of. By using vintage fabrics, you know that someone else enjoyed it in some other form at one time, be it as a curtain, skirt, or tablecloth. Cooking should be enjoyed. Sometimes, it can be rather messy. So why not wear something fun, or dramatic, or charming, rather than a plain towel wrapped around your waist. In response to a question asked, my home is smoke and pet free!
